Not great fabric, meh style.
This dress was really cut close. I didn't think it looked expensive or particularly well made. The fabric was thin and stretchy, and would have taken an army of spanx to look good.

Not sure how flattering the jacket was, but I felt cool.
Lightweight coat that was almost too warm for humid Tokyo. It is oversized and boxy. I can't say that it did great things for my shape, but I got lots of compliments on it. Great for casual wear, and would be fine for layering.

Love Love Love. I felt stylish, professional and generally gorgeous.
The fit on this dress was great for me. I have heavier hips, and the cut was super flattering. I was at an event with an editor of a large international fashion magazine and even got compliments on my dress! The material was substantial, and the dress was quite warm, but it had good stretch so it was comfortable.

I was worried the dress would be matronly, but once on, it looked great and held up in the heat.
I took peoples advice and ordered a size up, but I was swimming in the 14. It looked terrible. The 12, which I ended up wearing was a good 4 inches smaller. It was almost like their was a size missing between them. So I put on my most powerful control wear and jammed myself in the 12, which is my usual size. The fabric has no stretch at all. Upside--the fitted one looked sooo much better!
