Rented this for a conservative wedding, so the high neck and sleeves isn't something I would normally gravitate towards. But it's a beautiful dress - I was afraid it might look a bit bridesmaidy or mother-of-the-bride-ish, but it didn't. The high neckline and sleeves were fun with being a see-through material yet gave me the coverage I needed. The hi-lo hem was gorgeous, and one of my fave things about the dress. The material does not have a lot of give, so I'm glad I went with the 6 or it would have been too tight across the back/chest. Wore a strapless bra under and that worked fine. I'm 5'2" and the hem hit me perfect with 4 1/2" heels on.

It does not have a lot of give, so I was glad I went with the 6R. I'm 5'2, the length hit me just right with 4 1/2" heels on. I'm 130 pounds, athletic build, and a 34 C. I was able to wear a normal bra, which is always a plus. The sequins under the arms did not bother me like some others have mentioned, I think it's really just a personal feel.

There are so many great things about this dress....1) the neck line was my absolute favorite, it was very comfortable, roomy, and cut in a forgiving manner. Also, the dress is put on by stepping in and lifting the arm holes up front (like putting a standard bra on), so I had my hair blown out and didn't have to pull it over my head. I did wear a strapless bra with it with no problem at all. 2) it has a fun exposed silver zipper (which I was not actually aware of until I got it), 3) the way the waist is sewn/cut is very slimming and flattering. It is made to be a full skirt, and has heavy pleating all the way around, which was fun. 4) the length was long on me (I'm 5'2 and have a 30" inseam), but it was very wearable and just made it feel a bit more formal which was fine, 5) the material is awesome! It is thick and stretchy (the dress was surprisingly heavy when I took it off the hanger). So it was comfortable to sit and eat in, but it wasn't too hot (and it was a pretty warm day when I wore it). 6) the print is much like how everyone else described it. It does look black and white online, but indeed has a gorgeous dark blue undertone to the pattern. I absolutely loved wearing it, and was a bit bummed at the end of the day when I had to take it off to send back. The dress was clean and in excellent condition.

LOVED this dress! on sizing: first, my bust is 34C and build is athletic (it was given me trouble saving that in my profile). I marked this as "true to size", BUT I found it to be a bit snug in the waist (at the seam) and a bit loose in the chest. There is no give in the material, so also keep that in mind. While the waist seam was a bit snug, it was actually plenty comfortable tot sit in for the ceremony and for dinner. For the bust being a bit roomy, I wore a padded strapless bra, AND what really helped was wearing a white bandeau bra over that, which helped to "lift" the material in the chest and give it a nice busty shape. The hi-lo hem was amazing! Seated, it covered the top of my thighs just fine. Maybe a bit long in the back for a shorty like me, but that's the cut. The navy scalloped back detail was a gorgeous addition to this already great dress. It was super fun and flirty, great to dance in, and it seriously felt beautiful to wear. The dress was in perfect condition, and does not wrinkle easily at all (I had to travel back with it in my bag from the city). I paired it with some fun black heels and a statement large pearl necklace. Enjoy!
