I don't get to wear shorter dresses that often because I have a longer torso and junk in the trunk... didn't have an issue with this. It fit well, stretches- so it's forgiving, and flattering

If you have bigger boobs, I would say steer clear. I have moderately sized ones, and it barely covered my bra. Also, it is a true wrap dress, so I would recommend shorts, especially if it's windy.
