I'm 5'11" and an 8/10 in most dresses. I was SO nervous that this wasn't going to fit since all the reviews said "runs small". I would have sized up to a 12 but it wasn't available for the date I needed. So I took a risk and my gosh did it pay off. This dress is such a beautiful color, and the asymmetrical design lets you transition from an afternoon ceremony to a night reception. The side zipper is stiff in one section of the dress, but that's the only complaint. If you're thinking about it- do it!

Wore this to Barrister's Ball for school. The fit runs true to size, and I never had a problem with the strapless situation even though I was bopping around on the dance floor. Zipper panel was fine, nothing stuck. I remember other reviewers saying there was wear and tear on this dress but the 10L was in good shape and the 12L looked like it had never been worn. Note for tall girls (I'm a quarter inch shy of 6 foot) this dress will not allow you to wear heels w it if you are tall. I wore flats and the dress barely skimmed the ground (this was expected since I've never experienced a truly "long" dress)
