Not good for pear shapes
Gorgeous color, beautiful lace. The fit was a little big in the bust, way too big and bunchy at the waist, and too tight on my curvy hips.

This dress did not work for me at all. My usual size, 2, was pretty roomy. It had no definition in the waist so it just looked lumpy, and it was too long for my short frame.

Stiff fabric and not flattering.
I have a small bust and usually wear a 2. This 2 zipped up but was uncomfortably tight. The 4 fit better in the bodice. The fabric is very stiff and it puffed out even more than I had imagined it would. I’m short, and the hemline hit in an awkward place in the back. It looked childish and unflattering.

Not for pear shaped ladies!
This review is my experience - different body types will fare better! I came across this dress by sorting by body type, and this was recommended for pear shaped. I could not disagree more. The SR was snug in the hips and floppy in the bust. The XSR fit beautifully on top but was crazy tight in the bum. It had some stretch so it looked classy/sexy if I stood still. But if I walked around, or sat down then stood up, or moved my arms, six inches worth of fabric bunched up around my waist, creating what my boyfriend called a “pooch”. I didn’t want to spend all night tugging it back into place so I didn’t wear it.

Too big and not my style.
I have a small bust and usually wear a size 2. This 2 was too roomy in the bodice. I thought the colors and print looked nicer online than it did in person, and my boyfriend was not a fan of the ruffled high-low hem. It might look better on a taller person. So, I didn’t try to size down. The dress was very well constructed with a heavy lining.
