Just as wonderful as everyone says!
After stressing and looking EVERYWHERE for the perfect dress for my stepson's wedding, I found this one the Monday before the event. Don't know how I had missed the 72,000 other times I had looked at RTR! I read all the reviews which said how great the dress is and got it. By that time, there was only the 8L left, so I hoped it would work with my 3" heels at 5'7". It was a tad long (as you can see in the picture) but totally doable, and everyone said how elegant I looked :) Can't wait to see the professional photos from the wedding. It was just fitted enough to give shape, but loose enough to be super comfortable. I wore a strapless bra, but could possibly have gone without. Danced 'til my feet hurt with not a care in the world of wardrobe malfunctions! I love RTR's awesome support and helpful reviews. One thing on my dress, the zipper bulged a bit toward the top under my arm, which wasn't uncomfortable, but hoping didn't show in pictures. I will definitely be renting this again for another formal event.

Every bump shows!
I ended up not wearing this. The knit was scratchy, thin and completely clingy--every bump showed! The picture is definitely cuter than real life. I was bummed because it was exactly the vibe I was going for. Oh, well. Didn't order a back up dress and should have. I love RTR and have had great help in the past, the dress just didn't work this time.

I felt regal! Such a gorgeous dress.
So, my first choice (which I plan to rent another time) was not available and the AWESOME customer service rep Ariell helped me with reserving this one, plus helped me pick the perfect earrings (petite peacock pearl). I wore an heirloom pearl necklace from my mother, but that was for nostalgia and didn't really fit the dress. The stays in the bodice kept the dress up for 3 hours of dancing :) and made me sit up straight! Ha! The dress does run a bit on the smallish side. I am an 8 normally, but with the rehearsal dinner the night before and a special lunch earlier in the day, I was not at my leanest... So the 10L it was! Also, I am 5'7" and had 3" heels and the dress dragged on the floor. I stepped on it a lot and got stepped on by others near me, so if you go with the long, make sure you have the heels and/or the height for it. That said, I would totally rent this one again. I loved how it looked!! PS The back up dress they sent was a beautiful option for another occasion. I didn't realize they were going to send it, so I felt INUNDATED with choices and completely taken care of. FAN FOR LIFE, RTR!

You can't really see them in the photo, but I forgot to take a closeup! You can see the dress I wore them with, plus I added an heirloom pearl necklace and felt like a grand duchess. I wished I could have kept them!!
