I loved the style of this sheer "sweatshirt" and was hoping to wear it casually for dinner with friends. However, as other reviews stated, it runs small. I'm a 36C and have muscular upper arms and found it too tight across the chest, shoulders, and upper arms. I was concerned I'd tear it when I took it off. Thankfully, I didn't. It's also a tad short for someone like me (5'9" with a slightly longer torso than average). I would have needed a 14 but that wasn't available. If you're smaller in both height and bust/shoulders/arms I think this would work well for you. I sadly returned it without wearing. I hope this helps someone else avoid my mistake in ignoring other reviews. If you're lucky enough to wear this I think you'll love it!

I wore this stunner to a black-tie wedding. It was the only purple dress in the room and I received many compliments on it. The fabric has great give and isn't too heavy. I carry weight in my midsection but didn't need Spanx with this flattering style. I wore a backless, adhesive silicone bra for extra support, but could have gone without. The style is sexy without showing too much. I originally tried the 12R but definitely needed the 12L. I'm 5' 8.5" and wore the long version with flats. This was my first RTR experience and I'm hooked. You'll love this dress!
