I've been eyeing this dress for a while so when I was finally able to rent it for a daytime wedding I was very excited! I ended up wearing the small petite which was the perfect length with 3.5 inch heels (I'm 5'3"). The only complaint I have is that the boning inside the dress was popping out and it dug into my stomach whenever I sat down, so I still have scratches and bruising on my stomach 3 days later. The XS regular didn't have this issue, but it was a little too tight and long. Also, I didn't see the belt inside the rental bag because it was in a black pouch tucked into a black pocket and I was in a rush so I guess I missed it. Spent the whole day wishing I had the belt, but I think it still looked ok without it!

I had my eye on this dress for a long time and finally had the opportunity to rent it for a wedding. The pros are that it's a well made dress with a beautiful pattern & it has pockets! The material is just heavy enough for it to feel nice and structured. For me, the biggest con was the sizing. I wore the 0 and even that was too big in the top, to the point where I actually had to knot the straps to make them shorter, otherwise it would be completely inappropriate for me to wear to a wedding. Knotting the straps made the dress fit better but unfortunately it also meant that the straps dug into my shoulders (and they aren't comfortable material) so I was left with a few marks at the end of the night. Overall, it would be a great dress to purchase and tailor but as far as fit, I think they missed the mark on this one with the straps being so loose.

This was an awesome dress and color for a fall wedding! The length was longer on me than on the model but I think it works for this style of dress. I would definitely go at least one size up, especially if you have any hips at all, I had some trouble getting the dress up & down over my hips and butt. I rented the 6 & 8 and the 6 fit great so I didn't even try the 8. I normally wear a 0 or 2 in most things I get from RTR so I'm glad I read the reviews before renting. As long as you size up I think this is a great dress to try out, it's classy with a little bit of sexy while still keeping you pretty covered up. Would definitely rent again, especially if it came in other colors!

This dress was a backup when my original dress wasn't available to ship and it was such a happy accident! The minute I put this on I felt fantastic. The 2P was the perfect length in 3 1/2 inch heels and although it was a little looser than I expected, that made it much easier to dance in. The back of this dress is amazing and I got compliments all night. This was one I most definitely did not want to send back! The dress itself is SUPER heavy but the material didn't feel that thick or hot (this wedding was in July) so I wouldn't let that be a deterrent.

I wore this for my engagement photos and I didn't want to take it off! This is the perfect LWD for any bridal occasion. The back is stretchy at the top so it's very forgiving and the halter part ties so again, it's pretty adjustable. I wore the XS because of the stretchy back, it felt more snug and comfortable than the S. The length was nice as well, I really loved the handkerchief hem and that it wasn't all one length. If you're looking for something delicate and pretty for a summer day then this is the dress for you!

Long story short, this was a last minute NYE backup dress. I was somehow lucky enough to find a metallic dress that was actually in my size 2 days before NYE. I was only able to get the size 2 and it was definitely a bit snug (thanks to the holidays ..) so I probably would have wanted to try a 4 but the 2 worked out just fine. I loved the high-low feature of this dress and how structured it was. I have a pretty narrow ribcage but if you've got a broader one you should probably size up. The band underneath the bust is tight and there is NO stretch so if it doesn't fit there it won't fit at all.

I absolutely loved this dress! The material and color were just perfect. There's not much to say that everyone else hasn't already said but I would definitely size down for your backup size. The dress was in great shape and the material was light enough to be comfortable on an unusually warm October day. Loved the cutout and the different hemline. I felt great in this dress all night & would definitely rent it again if I didn't have so many other dresses I want to try!

Loved this dress! The color and fit were great. I loved that it was asymmetrical and I loved the way the back was cut. The 4 fit me well; I didn't even try on the 2. I would definitely size up for this one as the brand seems to run small. If you have any sort of hips or thighs you may want to avoid this style. It was definitely tight in that area and I'm a bit narrower in the hips and thighs than average. The material was thick and it felt like a well structured dress. I would definitely rent this one again!

When I first took this dress out of the bag and tried it on, I thought I had a RTR miss on my hands. I couldn't understand the rave reviews and thought it just fit me weirdly. Having no other option, the following day I got ready for my event and put the dress on. For some reason it felt like a whole new dress. The fabric is thick and has a lot of give and I will say that I probably should have sized down but the 2 fit me well enough. I thought the length was perfect on me but might be a tad short on someone with a longer torso. One thing I will say is that the back of the dress doesn't look like the photo .. The material was the same over the whole dress, not different from the top to the skirt. Overall I enjoyed this rental way more than I would have thought. Can't go wrong with a LBD paired with a fun necklace and heels.

This dress was beautiful and I give it 5 stars for the appearance, but I was disappointed in the quality. Because it's such a delicate material it probably gets worn out quicker than other dresses and it showed on the two sizes I got (0 and 2). The 0 had a weird line across the back where you could tell someone sewed it back together and the 2 had a small hole in the outer layer. Not deal breakers, because the dress was beautiful, but something to think about if you don't want to feel self conscious about the dress. I also noticed that the sequins were all stuck together when I first took it out of the box, making the outer layer of the dress hang weirdly .. I took the time to separate them and it made a big difference. I know that sounds nit picky, but it made a noticeable difference. I will say this dress probably isn't the best if you have wider hips - you can always size up but then it may be too baggy in the bust. The 2 was extremely baggy in the bust so I opted for the 0 which was snug getting over my hips but once I got it on, it was okay. The dress definitely shows up more white in photos (I included a daytime and night time with flash photo to show the difference) but it is a rose gold/nude in person. Overall if you rent this dress in a less used size I'm sure you will absolutely love it, I just think it may be time for RTR to retire the 2 particular dresses I received.

This was a fun dress for a daytime birthday celebration. I ended up wearing the 0 and it still wasn't as fitted in the waist as I would have liked but I think a thin belt could have fixed that (I just didn't have time to pick one up). The material is light and airy so it would be great for an outdoor event on a warmer day. The higher neckline allowed me to pair it with a necklace that I also rented and I liked the overall look. I probably wouldn't rent this one again because it wasn't the most "wow" dress I've ever worn but it was a great dress for the occasion! Also as you can see from the pics, the colors looked different depending on the lighting but overall they were more vibrant than I was anticipating, which was a nice surprise.

I was SO obsessed with this dress and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! I ordered the 2 and the 4 and even though the difference in size was pretty marginal, I wore the 4 because it was a little looser and gave me more of that shift dress look. The fabric is so beautiful in person and it just feels like a very well structured dress. If you're unsure of what sizes to rent, I'd recommend looking at the RTR user photos in the dress, instead of just basing it on their height/weight .. this is definitely one of those dresses that fits really differently depending on how you carry your weight. I know some other renters said it was pretty short but I'm 5'3" and it wasn't that short on me, probably because I wore the looser one. Definitely give this dress a shot, you won't regret it!

I rented this dress for a Sunday wedding but I still think it was too casual. The skirt was a lot fuller than I thought it would be, and sort of made my hips look bigger than they are. The top was actually somewhat loose but I wore a strapless bra underneath and that helped it fit better. I had no issues with the bra showing through the cutouts and no issues with the straps feeling too tight. It's a cute dress for a fun day party but it felt more like a sundress than something I should be wearing to a wedding.
