Great for shorter people
Being short, I always have a hard time finding gowns that won't drag on the ground all night, but this dress was absolutely perfect! It's a heavier material, but it makes it more flattering (and forgiving!). The neckline is not for the faint of heart -- as long as you're okay being on display, go for it! It's worth the dare.

Absolutely loved this coat! It photographed beautifully and I would have kept it longer, but it's no match for a true Chicago winter! I would have loved to size down to a 6 so the arms would have been a bit shorter, but the 8 still worked well.

I wanted to wear this for my engagement photos, but was unaware that the M is actually M/L on the tag. I would have gone with a small if I had known it was between sizes (but if you're looking for the over-sized look, stick with your normal size!).

Not great for short people
I wanted to wear this for my engagement photos, but unfortunately, the size 8 was far too big on me (and wayyy too long). My waist is about 29", and I should have gone with a size 6. It's well made and a nice quality, sad it didn't work out!

Compliments ALL NIGHT!
This is the best dress I have ever worn in my life. The embroidery is exquisite and dress is very well-made. The material is quite heavy, so be prepared to sweat a bit if you're in a warmer setting (but you couldn't tell because of the thickness of the dress). Everyone, including the bride, told me how amazing I looked in the dress. It definitely makes you stand out in the crowd!

Comfortable, yet fashionable
I wore this for a low-key birthday celebration. People with sensitive skin may want to wear leggings underneath (I work a thin black pair under mine), but it's not too itchy. I was extremely comfortable all evening!

Love the back, so many compliments!
I wore this dress for my company's Christmas party, and it was a hit! I'm 5'2" with a small bust--the length of the skirt was perfect and I didn't have to wear a bra. The skirt fabric is a bit stiffer than I imagined, which gives it a more formal feel. I would rent this dress again!
