My daughter rented this dress for a prom after her first dress arrived stained. This dress really accentuated her figure and the color was what made it stand out. The pop of pink really looked great among the sea of other dresses. The dress runs small so she sized up. She is busty, and the dress worked well to cover up her cleavage while still showcasing her figure. I took one star off because this particular dress was not in the best condition. The hem did not fall straight because it had been repaired and there was a large tear in the lining at the waist. Also, compared to her back up size the color of this dress was slightly faded. Rent the Runway needs to do a better job of inspecting its dresses for damage and stains before sending them out. My daughter's original dress had to be returned because it arrived with an obvious chalky white stain on it. We ended up liking this dress much more. The length worked well for my daughter who is 5'3" and wore 4 inch heels.

There is nothing special about this top. The fabric is a nice, substantial weight but the cut was not flattering on me at all. The peplum made me look bigger than I am. I ended up not wearing the top. If you are very slim this could be cute but I would say it is not flattering on curvy girls like me.

My daughter rented this dress for a party at a club in NYC and loved it! Her original dress was unavailable and she picked this out at the last minute. It complemented her shape and looked fantastic. It's definitely short, but at 5'2" it wasn't too short on her. On a taller person it might be too short. The fabric is stretchy and not flashy. I liked that her chest was covered up yet the fitted shape was still quite sexy. My daughter said it was very comfortable to wear. She was begging me not to send it back! A great dress if you are on the shorter side, have a great figure and nothing to hide.

I rented this dress for a party with a gold and silver theme. The dress was suprisingly light weight and comfortable to wear. I thought it ran large and I ended up having room to spare in the smaller size. (I was thankful for that because the larger dress smelled like body odor yuck!) Beware that you cannot wear a traditional bra because of the low back. I ended up letting the girls roam free but if I had more time I would have bought a long line bra. The cut-outs at the side would make wearing high-waisted Spanx difficult, but you could certainly wear lower waisted shapewear without a problem. Since the dress was sretchy and roomy, I didn't find the need for shapewear. The dress has plenty of sparkle but the sequins are matte so it's not completely over the top. I wore this to a club so I felt it suited the venue perfectly. It's a fun dress for the right occasion.

I rented this dress for a holiday party. It arrived new with the tags attached but unfortunately I had to return it unworn. The dress is made of a nice heavy fabric with stretch but I could not make it work for me because it was too low cut and also too short. At 5'4" am not tall by any means, but the dress hit me at mid-thigh and when I pulled it up to cover my cleavage it became even shorter. I think this would fit best on someone straight and narrow - unless you don't mind flashing some cleavage. For me, it also read too "young." Definitely a great dress for someone in their 30s-40s but at over 50 it just wasn't appropriate on me.

I rented this dress for our office holiday party. I ended up not wearing it. The color was more pink than the red I had expected and I had hoped it would have a more forgiving fit. Instead, it was very fitted around the waist and showed every lump and bump. I had more flattering dresses in my closet. If you are leggy with a flat belly, then this dress would probably work well. Not recommended for those of us with a middle-aged pooch like me.

I rented this dress for a formal New Year's Eve wedding. It was made beautifully and overall I was happy with my choice. I usually wear a 12 but wore the 14L because I needed the length with my 4" heels (and I am by no means tall at 5'5"). The dress did take some work to get into. As other reviewers mentioned, the zipper is very hard to pull up - even when on the hanger. The neckline was far lower and more revealing than I expected. I had to pin it closed in 2 places to ensure that I had enough coverage. I could not have worn this dress without some serious pinning! I am busty at 38D but not unusually so. If you are at all chesty be prepared to stitch or pin it closed unless you want your "girls" on display! The dress was very comfortable and had some stretch to it. I liked that it camouflaged my less than perfectly flat belly. A nice choice for the occasion but I would probably not rent again because of the neckline. Would be a real stunner on someone less curvy than me.

My daughter rented this dress for a semi formal dance. The dress is beautifully made and surprisingly lightweight given all the sequins. Loved the color and it had great sparkle. She got both a 4 and 6 and could have worn either because it has stretch. She went with the 6 for the extra length. This dress is quite short even by teenaged girls' standards! We had expected it to be a bit longer based on where it hit the 5'10" model shown on RTR's website. My daughter is 5'4" and it was pretty short on her. The dress did gap in the back along the sides, but we fixed that with some fashion tape. I miss the days when RTR included fashion tape with each order. My daughter is quite busty at 34DD so it was nice to find a dress that provided coverage in front with some wow from behind. She wore an adhesive bra which worked well. My daughter received many compliments on this dress and it was very reasonably priced. Very happy with the rental experience and would recommend this dress for a semi formal event as long as you are prepared with fashion tape and you are comfortable with the short length.
