I'm normally a 10 or 12 so I ordered this for NYE in a 12 (my backup size wasn't available) and it was a little big. I'm broad in the shoulders and this made my shoulders look huge since it's a little bit of a boat neck and I'm small in the bust so this had a lot of room in the bust. It could have worked one size smaller especially since the sash comes unattached and can be tied as tightly as needed. Overall this would be a good dress for hourglass figures without broad shoulders and average sized busts.

I usually wear a 12 or 10 in dresses but I wore this in an 8 and felt that I could have even gone one more size down. I'm not big busted (B cup) and this dress gaped a lot in the bust. I ended up needing a few safety pins to take in the waist -- since the back has a sheath it didn't show-- and to make the chest fit a little better. Definitely rent a size or two lower and make sure to have safety pins on hand if you choose this dress. Also, the color in these pictures makes it look black and beige but the true color is a dark gray and an almost rose colored graige (beige+gray). Still nice colors and a cute dress.

Perfect dress to wear to a wedding and fit well. I'm somewhat flat chested though and felt like the bust was a little bigger than it should have been but it wasn't obvious unless I leaned over. The picture of the back of the dress isn't accurate, there are three silver colored buttons evenly spaced out, definitely cannot wear a regular bra or it would show on this one. The fabric is lovely and I would definitely recommend this one.
