LOVED this dress! I got complements all night from everyone. This dress was so comfy and beautiful the whole night, and I was never self conscious in it. I wore a nubra and some spanx that didn't come up super high (so they wouldn't show in the back), and it was perfect. I had ordered some fashion tape because I thought I'd need to tape the dress down so I didn't flash anyone, but it wasn't necessary--it stays put no matter how you move. It does indeed run very large like the other reviews said--I normally wear an 8/10, and based in other reviews ordered a 6L and 4L and wore the 6L. The 4L fit as well but was a little tighter in the waste and seemed a little shorter as well. I'm 5'9" (165 lbs), and probably the only think I would change about this dress is to make it about 2 inches longer. It was just barely long enough since my heals were only about 2.5 inches, but if you're much taller than me, it might be too short, even in the "long" (which is what I got). Also, I'm a D-cup, and the straps were the perfect length for me (and honestly the front still came down a little low, so if you are a larger cup size I think you'd still be golden), but if you are a smaller cup size, you might have to do some finagling with the straps just so the front doesn't dip so low. Overall terrific dress--you won't regret ordering it!!!

I rented this to wear to my 10-year HS reunion. The fit was true to size. The empire-waste band was slightly tight on me (around the top of my rib cage), but not so much that I felt like I needed the next size up. Otherwise super comfy and cute and LOVED the pockets! The back comes down below where my normal bra band would be. This didn't actually matter in the end though because the top is so nicely lined/supportive that I didn't even need to wear a bra with it. Got tons of compliments all night! For reference, I'm 5'9", 160 lbs, 32D, typically an 8 or 10 long in pants and 8 in dresses.
