A month before NYE, I was having second thoughts on an Herve I originally rented (I thought it was too plain for NYE in Miami) and came across the only sequined dress RTR had in my size--kinda. I normally wear a size 2, but all that was left was a 0. Though the size notes said it ran big, I was nervous that the midi length would be too long (I'm 5'1") and the dress would be too small (I'm a 32DDD). But I took a chance and rented it anyway, and thankfully it did not disappoint. The dress was snug in all the right places so it hugged and accentuated my curves, while the midi length kept it classy. And the color was the perfect shade, adding a nice bit of vampiness to the ensemble. Since the dress was a tad too long for my height, the bottom was not as tight around my calves as a true midi should be, and after a night of partying the sequins did take a toll on the inside of my arms. I don't think these are deal breakers, but just some things to think about when you rent. As for sizing, I think this dress can run big so be sure to order a size down as a back-up if possible. Overall, fabulous dress. Enjoy!

I absolutely loved this necklace and was so sad I had to return it. I probably would've kept it if that were an option. I wore this with the Herve Leger Gold Glimmer Strapless Dress and felt absolutely beautiful. I now need to track this necklace down so I can add it to my permanent collection.

This dress was so cute, but I think would be an ideal fit for someone who is 5'3 and a C/D-cup. I, however, do not fit into that size grouping, and I think I made it work for me. I ordered the dress in a 2 and 4, and ended up needing to size up to the 4 because of my bust size (32DDD). But because the bodice portion is extremely structured, sizing up meant it was too big near the ribcage and back. To prevent the dress from slipping all night though, I just wore a strapless bra. But a big warning to those busty ladies out there, this dress will amplify your busom (see pictures). Since I was in Vegas for the weekend, it worked, but it may not work if you're heading to a wedding or something more PG. Also, because of my height and the fact we were in Vegas, I wished the dress was an inch or two shorter, but I could easily see this dress being too short on a much taller girl. Overall, this is definitely a cute, sexy little number and it brought me good luck at blackjack and craps :) I ordered this as my $25 back-up dress and was very pleased I did. Have fun in it, ladies! I know I did!

Like many girls, I've wanted to wear an Herve Leger and thought my upcoming birthday weekend in Vegas would be the perfect debut. I, however, did not feel entirely comfortable wearing the classic bandage dress without toning up my mid-section. Because of that, I loved how this dress didn't exactly hug your every curve and was surprised at how comfortable it was. I felt pretty fabulous in it. A few notes to the fellow busty ladies out there: I typically wear an XS but because of my bust size, was worried it wouldn't fit (and of course the S was unavailable). I laid my faith in RTR reviews, and the dress did zip over my lovely lady lumps. Now because it didn't quite fit right at the bust, the material constantly bunched at the ribcage. It wasn't terrible, but just slightly high-maintenance since I had to tug at the dress to pull it down after walking for awhile or sitting. Overall, this was sexy, little dress and a great entry into the world of Herve Leger. Now to work on those crunches so I can wear more HL...
