Size up
I am a solid 8 with 99% of dresses. This was entirely too tight in the chest area, I was unable to wear it. The dress is absolutely gorgeous so I was bummed it ended up being a waste.

Could have sized down
I am a solid size 8 but many times size up to a 10 on dresses from RTR. I could have easily sized down on this one as k had to rubber band the halter for it to not be too tight which was fine because I wore my hair down. The dress was GORGEOUS but my day was so busy I just didn’t think to get a pic.

This dress was a hard no for me.
If you have any cleavage whatsoever, this may not be the dress to wear to a formal event with conservative people. I live in very conservative West Texas and bought this to wear to a reception for donors to the nonprofit I work for. This was entirely too low cut and busty so I was unable to wear it. I don't know that I would have worn it even with a more forgiving group of people because of how busty and lowcut it was and I'm not one to shy away from dresses that accentuate my features. It had a safety pin on the cleavage from probably the person before me and I tried to wear it that way but it pulled in an awkward way and no matter how I pinned it, the pin showed. If you are smaller chested or don't mind being that busty, this dress may be for you as it was a gorgeous dress but I was not able to wear it.

Worn for an evening dinner honoring a coworker who was presented with a prestigious local award.
I'm typically a size 8 in everything. The medium fit but was a bit snug - not uncomfortable or awful - but the large just felt better with a little more given that I prefer.

Perfect for conference presentation
I wore this to present at a statewide conference. I actually ordered both the medium and large as I had not rented a dress before. Overall the medium fit better but the large insured full coverage of my chest without being low cut.
