LOVED it but too long :(
Gorgeous color, movement, and honestly very comfortable and flattering! Unfortunately it's just way too long - I'm 5'3" and tried it with ~4" heels and I was still stepping on the hem. Bummer!

Not flatting in the mesh section
I'm a thicker gal, so was already a bit apprehensive of the mesh-middle dress style, but I figured it would be more of an accent than a highlight. The outer edges of the mesh squeezed me in more than I wanted, so I felt like I had a minor muffin top in my middle. Otherwise, it fit great - I'd have worn shapewear for the event, but even without it I was able to zip up fully by myself. The real downfall for this dress was the skirt, though. Even with the slit, it's not comfortable enough for me to dance in.

Awkward fit with a big chest
The MR size was too tight for me (36D or so), but could have been possible if I had someone else to zip it up. I tried it with a mild corset but of course the corset could be seen through the keyhole. The zipper was oddly huge, and it wasn't a smooth zip over the fabric change in the back. Not a comfortable style for me. The gold skirt is beautiful though!

Great fit - slightly dated style
This dress was on my "maybe" list for a black-tie event. Ultimately I decided against it because it's very lightweight (not ideal for winter) and the high-low style feels dated. It fit perfectly though, and would be great for dancing! The colors are beautiful. Just not my style in the end.

I have never seen my figure like this!!! One photo (with heels) is without shapewear, then the one where I'm wearing socks I have a mild corset under. I could live in this dress, not kidding. I ended up wearing a more festive/colorful dress with a very similar shape (Hutch Call Cowl Neck Gown), but might rent this again for an upcoming event. If you're tempted by this dress, RENT IT, but if you want something more colorful, try the Hutch!

SLIP MEANS THIN!!!
When they say "slip dress" the basically mean it'll have to serve as your underwear too. The fabric was lightweight which could be great for summer, but it also meant that it hid NOTHING and wouldn't even disguise shapewear. Not for me!

I felt incredible in this dress! It was a more festive version of the Amanda Uprichard Jasalina gown, which I also loved - but came in second to this floral beauty. I didn't even wear shapewear but was SNATCHED all night! The big challenge was finding the right bra - unfortunately I have big tiddies but they are farther apart, so I wanted to wear something to help with cleavage. I got one of those sticky bras with the laces in the front to pull 'em together. I still had to cut the top off those sticky cups and tap the top of the dress; the cowl wanted to show the whole party my business.

NOT RED!
This dress is NOT RED. It is FIRMLY MAGENTA. I rented to try on for an upcoming event (got the 8L because it was available, knowing it would be too long). I was able to get the zipper up, but it was very snug, so I would recommend sizing up for a comfier fit. IT'S NOT RED!

Highlighted my lower belly!
I rented this to try on for an upcoming event. It fit well, and I appreciated the interior bra clasp to keep the top up. However - the leather sash perfectly framed my lower belly. I don't recommend this for short people unless you maybe want to highlight a baby bump, or you have a perfectly flat tummy.

Comfy and gorgeous embroidery!
(Disclaimer: I wore this dress in March 2017, but the pop-up reminder to review it won't disappear and it's annoying.) I did love this dress. I was injured right before a black-tie gala and not able to wear heels (just worn for photos), so I changed my rental at the last minute. The customer service team was super helpful! The dress turned out lovely; it was a rather conservative tea length (definitely not showy on the legs), but the cut and fit of the bodice and the beautiful embroidery made it fun! It's rather heavy, so it was excellent for a late-winter event, but I think it would be too heavy and potentially uncomfortable in the summer. If I recall correctly, the colors come through a bit more in person - really a deep purple/burgundy sort of color scheme, with metallic/gold accents.

Perfect and unique for a black-tie gala!
I loved this dress. Actually, if it were offered in different colors, I'd be renting again for this year's gala. It was thick and very flattering fabric that wasn't too heavy for dancing. It wasn't super soft, but not at all itchy. I have a bigger bust and was extremely comfortable with just stick-on cups in this dress (frankly, I didn't really need a bra anyway). The slit was a fun element, but not too high that you have to be careful how you sit or dance. The colors are rich and the gold thread is a gorgeous accent in photos!
