This dress was way too long for me being 5'3" (even with a 4" heel on) and the shoulder straps were an extra 1.5" too long as well. I loved the dress so much that I had to get creative with using safety pins. Once I took up the straps and pinned the bottom of the dress up a few inches and it worked perfectly for a beach wedding in Mexico. Was also disappointed to see that the dress was all red and not as pictured with yellow on the bodice. Oh well! Made it work and still felt gorgeous.

This dress has a very tailored fit. I am religiously a size 4 amongst most brands, but I found that with this dress I needed to size down to a 2 which fit like a glove and looked incredible! Even though it was a snug and tailored fit, I did not at all feel restricted and was able to dance around in it at a wedding reception. Some of the other reviews commented that the collar does not fit like the advertised photo and I can confirm that. RTR advertises it as a high neck and that it sits up straight - this is not the reality. The collar drapes down and does not stand on its own, which you can see in other reviews. I don't think it is a bad thing and the dress still looks amazing. I can understand the disappointment if that was something you were expecting though. I had some trouble with the interior construction of the dress as well. In the bodice there is boning which is cheap and feels like it will poke through the fabric at any moment. At times towards the end of the night the tip of the boning on one side was very abrasive against my ribs. Something to watch out for! Other than that - I really enjoyed wearing this dress. The style and details really stand out.
