I was really worried this was going to be too hot for a September early evening wedding in Maryland but it was perfect, I’ve never felt so physically comfortable at formal event. One thing I will say- it was not too small or too large, but it didn’t fit just right- it’s wonky. If you are an hourglass who tends to have issues finding pieces ample enough in the bust and hips and narrow enough in the waist, this might not be for you. This is a problem I frequently run into and it made the fabric bubble up and give me a Buffalo hump in my mid upper back- so awkward, I asked my husband to keep his hand on my back most of the night hahaha

You can dress this up with cute mules, a clutch, and a statement necklace or dress it down with Birkenstocks a tote and a pendant necklace. I wore it to a daytime polo match, a wedding, and multiple dinner dates and it was so perfect and flattering for each one. I do recommend fashion tape tho!

If you are an hourglass and have a difficult time finding dresses that are ample enough in the hips and bust but narrow enough in the waist, this dress is for you. Since it wraps you can adjust it to the fit you want and there’s no weird gapping at the bust. I’m a mid Atlantic gal and I’d also recommend it for those early fall activities when you want to look cute and seasonal but don’t want to sweat to death!
