I really enjoyed wearing this dress to my organization's annual gala/black tie affair. As the organizer for a 1,000+ person event, I had little time to focus on what I would wear. I scoured the dress reviews in between planning logistics, which were VERY helpful, and picked a couple that I thought would work. This one was my first choice and I didn't even have time to try it until an hour before the event. I am usually a size 12 and the 12R fit like a glove but I needed a little more wiggle room to run around so I wore the 14R. I'm 5'3 and I had 5" heels on so the length in front worked well but the tail dragged a but too much so I had to lift it up to walk. I suggest pinning a secure wrist ribbon to hold tail if you plan to walk around a lot.
