It's much bigger than I thought it would be — it fit across my entire torso which made it great to wear while running errands but wasn't a good option for a bag that I'd want to wear on the shoulder.

I ordered the medium and the large because the nature of the dress is to be snug. I ended up wearing the large because it was the right length for my sorority derby dance and gave me some room to dance and move in. I also liked that I could stand up and sit down comfortably. Heads up for the shorter ladies though: the lacing in the back on the shoulder blades is gorgeous but if you're shorter like me, the lace will pop out a little bit. That being said, if you wear a sticky bra, you can pull the dress down more in the back to avoid that problem and not show your bra. One thing to note is that the dress is tight for every curve. I wore Spanx and I'm glad I did but beware that it'll show that you've been drinking!
