Definitely size down 1 size.
I’m glad I listened to reviews. I’m pretty solidly a size 12, sometimes 14 for dresses and tops because of my 36D bust and athletic shoulders but I sized down in this too and it fits perfectly, with no pulling at the hooks in front. Great breezy fabric for vacation, vibrant colors. Definitely packing this set to take along.

Great fit, flattering
These fit just right in the waist and length. They’re a thicker stretch fabric and skimmed nicely. Wore with a blazer, tank, tee. Very versatile.

Fun, bright set for vacation.
I’m a reliable size 12/31 in pants and 36D on top. I’m glad I read reviews and sized up one in the pants and down one in the matching top. Both pieces fit comfortably and the set was the perfect weight to flow in the breeze on vacation.

Enormous and oddly shaped
This was only available in my usual size (L) but I tried it anyway, despite reading reviews saying to size down 1-2 sizes. It is enormous and the pockets flare away from the body at a weird, sharp angle. It felt more muumuu than coverup or dress. The material is nice, the colors are beautiful. Belted it looked passable from the front but the excess fabric of the dress and especially the pockets made it very bulky in the back, under my belt. Too fussy to wear comfortably, it’s going back without being worn in public.

I wanted to love this one.
I love Veronica Beard and find their dress sizing to be very true. This is such a pretty, light weight spring dress but due the unfortunate pleating at the back there is some major puckering of the fabric right at the seam between the back and skirt. You can just see a tiny bit of this happening the item’s images but as someone with a larger bust that pulled the top snugly to my back, it looked like there was a fabric duckbill behind me. Only way I’d wear it out was if I kept a jacket over it, which would hide the cute puff sleeves. It went back without being worn.

Stiff, itchy, and small
This sweater ran really small and when I put it on it looked like it was still hanging on the hanger - the knit was thick and somewhat itchy, the sleeves had no movement and it was unflatteringly stretched across my 36D bust. I’m a pretty reliable size L/10-12 and this missed the mark. Never wore it out.
