This dress made my night. It was a little long, but only because I wore Dolce Vita suede wedges that were only about 2' because I knew I was going to be on my feet all day and wanted them to be hidden. If you can stand it, I would recommend taller shoes. The detailing on the dress is lovely (although my rental was missing one rhinestone- you couldn't tell), so much so, I didn't wear jewelry so as to not to detract from the cut and embellishments. It was 102 degrees outside when we walked the red carpet, but the dress is double-lined and was surprisingly cool. The fabric draped perfectly and kept looking lovely well into the midnight hour. I was worried about this dress looking too mature, but honestly, it was classic, elegant and the right amount of sophisticated.

The color of this dress is incredible. You can see it in the uploaded photos- and I really wanted to wear it for the event I attended, however, I chose to wear my other rental option for 2 reasons. First, it was 102 degrees and I didn't want to sweat through the thinner unlined silk of the gown. Second, the fabric of the rental I received was obviously worn. The side seams rippled and it was going to need a lot of steaming to attempt to lay right. It's a gorgeous, MATURE dress, perfect for a cooler (less sweaty) day. I rented a 2L and it fit perfectly.
