This dress is more Mauve than purple in person. Great fabric! Nice and thick. Could be dressed up for everyday, or down for the office. I ended up not wearing it at all because it was my FREE birthday dress rental, and I didn't get a back-up size. It was so BIG! The dress has a front zip, which it turns out can not be zipped UP, only down. Making it too low cut and also boxy to be flattering. If you try it be sure to size down. I was familiar with the brand, so ordered a 10 (I'm 5'0" 130 lbs) - but I could have probably fit a 6 in this dress. Be sure to order a smaller size! It was about knee length on me, but again... I'm short.

I wore this for Thanksgiving with the family. Lots of compliments - i dressed it down with s pair of jeans, but it also looks great with black pants or a pencil skirt. Really wanted to keep this one! A lot of sleeve, but not really in the way. I'm between a medium and large but the large fit well.

Love this dress ! Substantial fabric with stretch, (not scuba). The ruffles adds fun twist. It is fitted st the waist, so if between sizes go up. The chest is looser (maybe not for those with more chest?) Comfortable yet beautiful. Never felt constricted. Would be great for office party too! On my 5' frame hit right st the knee.

I am 5'0" so the dress was a little longer on me. I'm between a 12 and a 10, but found the 10 to be quite roomy! Loved the fabric and the feel of this dress. And those super fun sleeves! The built in lining however hung lower than the dress. It did not look to me as if this was a design feature, but rather a problem. I suppose I could have pinned it up, but I ended up wearing my backup dress instead Other than the slip problems it would definitely be a 5. Might want to size down, especially if you are between sizes.

Love this dress! So flattering! I'm between a 12 and a 10. The 12 was a little large, but went ahead and wore it anyway. Looser through the chest. (I'm a c-cup). Waist fit well. Wore to a Veteran's Day ceremony. Lots of compliments. The fabric is substantial and the Rick rack lays down perfectly. Flattering a- line cut was a bit below knee for this shortie.
